On-campus accommodation is guaranteed to international degree students. However, the university is not able to arrange accommodation for couples or families.

*If the applicant fits one of the followings, he / she is NOT entitled to apply as an international student:

The student dormitory provides 1660 beds (four beds in one room) and the dorm staff works 24 hours a day to offer assistance.

There are a variety of facilities such as Internet access, cafeterias,washing machines, reading rooms, grocery shops, and recreation rooms to satisfy students' daily needs.

Working opportunity

  After having studied at NKFUST for two semesters or at a language program for one year, international students with an excellent academic performance can work in Taiwan.

For International students who wish to work in Taiwan (either on campus or off campus), they are required to apply for and obtain the Work Permit before starting work. Please note if you hold a jot without Work Permit, you may be fined for NT$30,000 to NT$150,000! With the exception of summer and winter vacations,  the maximum time permitted to work is 16 hours per week. Foreigners working in Taiwan are required to file an income tax in May annually. 

To apply for Work Permit, please prepare following documents.

1. Application Form.

2. Copy of front and back of student ID.

3. Copy of passport.

4. Copy of front and back of Alien Resident Certificate.

5. Other related documents.

6. Fee NT$100
